I don’t sit on it, but I do either place it under my left thigh to relieve my pain. I also prop it under my left butt cheek and lean on a pillow to the other side so I’m not completely on it because the nodes are stong and it’ll be massaging too hard and hurt. My sciatica pain is on my left side. It helps me a lot.

You use the car adapter that came with the product. Plug the small end into the massager then remove the cigarette lighter from it’s charger, and plug the other end of the adapter into the cigarette lighter charger.
